In honor of PRIDE Month (June 2022), History Fort Lauderdale presents the multimedia exhibition “Take PRIDE! A Retrospective of LGBTQ Life in South Florida” hosted by Galleria Fort Lauderdale. This impactful multimedia exhibit chronicles the gay rights movement and the significant migration of LGBTQ community members to South Florida which has contributed to the success of its vibrant arts and culture, business, media, and political landscape. The exhibition is located at Galleria Fort Lauderdale, 2414 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, located in the mall near Swarovski, and is open during regular mall hours at no cost.
