National Museum of Peace and Justice Jar Collection Ceremony for the permanent remembrance of Ruben Stacy at the historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1936 NW 9th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.

Lynching victims from all states are honored at National Museum of Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL. Broward County’s own Ruben Stacy is honored in the museum as he was lynched in Fort Lauderdale in 1935. The museum has sent a jar to be enshrined in their Wall of Remembrance. Our local community will collect earth from Ruban’s grave for the jar.
